Sue Schurr was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating Archbishop Ryan High School, she attended Holy Family University, majoring in Business. While attending school Sue held a job at the Internal Revenue Service, as a tax examiner in the departments of: code and edit, underreporting, and business adjustments. This experience became invaluable for her future bookkeeping endeavors.
Married in 1992, Sue began attending a business school in Southern New Jersey. In the midst of her schooling she and her husband started their family; having three children. After years of holding the title of head of household, and doing side-work as a bookkeeper, Sue returned to the workforce in 2007 as a bookkeeper with the "Your Bookkeeper Company" in Medford, NJ. Sue quickly worked her way into the Head Bookkeeper position. She later went to work for the Allied Trades Assistance Program (ATAP), as their Financial Controller.
Sue has never stopped learning, taking occasional business and finance classes during her tenure as head of household. Sue returned to school officially in 2012 earning her Associates Degree in Business from Mount West Community College and obtaining a certification as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
Sue is the currently the owner / operator of Schurr Bookkeeping, LLC (SBK). SBK has a wide range of clients; from small start-ups to million dollar non-profits. Her experience, quality of work, professionalism, and client relations has helped her business grow quickly in recent years.
